IBM Physical Design Engineer:
Job Description:
As a Physical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for IC timing closure issues. Your main focus will be in the areas of design planning and floor planning, physical synthesis, place and route, parasitic extraction, and signal integrity analysis and prevention. A secondary focus will be in logic synthesis, static timing analysis, and physical verification. You will be working as a member of an IC design team. The location of the assignment is in the USA.
Job Experience:
Candidate should have demonstrated hands-on experience on IBM Design tools
Expertise with IBM ASIC design flow, including P&R is a must. Should have proven expertise in tape releasing designs in IBM design flow. Successful completion of at least two physical design projects.
Excellent programming skills. Extensive knowledge of Perl. BSEE/MSEE with 5 years of physical design experience.
